No artigo de hoje vamos fazer uma seleção, na nossa modesta opinião das melhores bandas que surgiram desde os anos 1980 até o milênio. Vamos tentar num exercícios de crítica elencar qual o maior sucesso de cada uma dessas bandas.
É muito difícil estabelecer um parâmetro de quem foi o melhor, ainda mais nos anos 80 e 90 abriram o caminho para diferentes estilos de música pop, com uma variedade de grupos de diferentes gêneros em seu som.
Também é muito difícil separar as duas décadas em períodos, já que a efervescência criativa foi muito grande, se iniciando um pouco antes, no final da década de 1970 e adentrando na virada do milênio.
Trazendo diversas influências musicais formando um fascinante teatro melódico. Além do rock, a música pop atingiu um público mais amplo, onde muitos astros reinavam de forma suprema.
Os gêneros musicais eram dance music, R & B, soul, música eletrônica, funk, pop synth, new wave, pop-rock, novo Jack Swing, House, Indie Pop, Reggae, Dance-Pop e Teen Pop.
